Directed by the Oscar-nominated writer-director of Minari, Lee Isaac Chung, Twisters promises an adrenaline-pumping adventure that puts you right in the heart of nature’s fury.

Daisy Edgar-Jones takes on the role of Kate Carter, a former storm chaser haunted by a past encounter with a tornado. Now a storm researcher, she works from the relative safety of New York City. However, she’s lured back to the open plains by her friend Javi (Ramos) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. Powell portrays Tyler Owens, a charismatic social media superstar who thrives on chasing the most dangerous storms imaginable, capturing the chaos for his online audience. As the storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena never before seen are unleashed. Kate, Tyler, Javi, and their crews find themselves caught in the crosshairs of multiple twisters converging over Oklahoma in a desperate fight for survival.

The screenplay comes from Mark L. Smith,writer of the Best Picture nominee The Revenant, based on a story by Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion).
