Today, Marvel Studios unveiled an exhilarating new featurette in anticipation of the upcoming blockbuster, “The Marvels.” Embark on the incredible odyssey with Captain Marvel, also known as Carol Danvers, in a way you’ve never witnessed before, as she embarks on a journey to unite forces with Captain Monica Rambeau, her estranged niece, and the young, vibrant superhero, Ms. Marvel, hailing from Jersey City.
In Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels,” Carol Danvers, alias Captain Marvel, has successfully reclaimed her true self from the clutches of the oppressive Kree regime and exacted vengeance on the formidable Supreme Intelligence. However, a series of unforeseen events thrusts Carol into the role of bearing the weight of a universe in turmoil. Her path leads her through an enigmatic wormhole, entwining her powers with those of Jersey City’s ardent admirer, Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and her own niece, the S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. This unlikely trio must unite and harmonize their unique abilities to rescue the universe, becoming the formidable force known as “The Marvels.”
The cast of this epic adventure includes Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson. Nia DaCosta takes the directorial helm, while Kevin Feige assumes the role of producer. Serving as executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins. The screenplay is masterfully crafted by Nia DaCosta, Megan McDonnell, and Elissa Karasik.
