Marvel’s ‘Echo’ premieres on Disney+ and Hulu Jan. 10

On January 10, 2024, a day etched in memory, Marvel Studios’ “Echo” is set to grace the screens of Disney+ and Hulu, leaving no bad deed unpunished. Behold the freshly unveiled trailer and poster that emerged this very morning. This five-episode streaming spectacle casts its radiant spotlight on Maya Lopez (played by Alaqua Cox), as she finds herself pursued by the formidable criminal empire of Wilson Fisk (brought to life by Vincent D’Onofrio).

When the journey takes her back to her roots, she must grapple with the echoes of her own family and legacy. All five captivating episodes will be available for streaming on both platforms starting January 10, and will grace Hulu’s library until April 9. Notably, this marks the inaugural Marvel Studios series to drop all its episodes at once, making for a truly binge-worthy experience.

The stellar cast of “Echo” also includes the talents of Chaske Spencer (known for “Wild Indian” and “The English”), Graham Greene (of “1883” and “Goliath” fame), Tantoo Cardinal (renowned for “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Stumptown”), Devery Jacobs (from FX’s “Reservation Dogs” and “American Gods”), Zahn McClarnon (known for “Dark Winds” and FX’s “Reservation Dogs”), Cody Lightning (of “Hey, Viktor!” and “Four Sheets to the Wind”), and, of course, the indomitable Vincent D’Onofrio, who has graced both “Hawkeye” and “Godfather of Harlem.”

This cinematic journey is skillfully directed by Sydney Freeland (of Navajo heritage) and Catriona McKenzie (hailing from Gunaikurnai). The esteemed executive producers behind the scenes are Kevin Feige, Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Richie Palmer, Jason Gavin (a member of the Blackfeet tribe), Marion Dayre, and Sydney Freeland herself. Serving as co-executive producers are Jennifer L. Booth and Amy Rardin.
