Apple TV+ has officially unveiled the trailer for season two of The Last Thing He Told Me, the suspenseful drama starring and executive produced by Jennifer Garner. The new season reunites Garner with returning cast members Angourie Rice, David Morse, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, while welcoming Judy Greer and Rita Wilson to the ensemble.
Season two will consist of eight episodes and will premiere globally on Friday, February 20, 2026, with new episodes releasing weekly every Friday through April 10, 2026.
What Season Two Is About
The second season is based on The First Time I Saw Him, Laura Dave’s instant New York Times bestselling sequel to her acclaimed novel The Last Thing He Told Me.
Set five years after the events of season one, the story follows Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) as he suddenly reappears after years on the run. His return pulls Hannah (Jennifer Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) into a high-stakes race to reunite their family—before long-buried secrets and past dangers catch up to them.
