The 2016-2017 Class of MovieFloss Interns!


A few weeks ago we put out some feelers and started searching for some new blood for the MovieFloss staff, we searched high and low and had an outpouring of writers eager to join our staff as interns. We are excited to announce that our first class of interns have been filled!

Please join us in welcoming the following three new members of the MovieFloss Team!

Roxy De La Rosa HeadshotRoxy De La Rosa

Roxy and her dogs are San Diego natives all hailing from Baja. She is a graduate of SDSU with a bachelor’s degree in Television, Film, and New Media Production. Roxy is a huge comedy film and sitcom fan who hopes to become a TV writer, but for now she spends her time “researching” Netflix when she should be writing.





Braulio Ramirez HeadshotBraulio Ramirez

Braulio Ramirez is a graduate from the University of California at Berkeley, where he majored in history and contributed to The Daily Californian as a movie critic. He currently resides in San Diego, California, where he was born and raised, and now spends most of his time discovering new coffee places to load up on caffeine and inspiration. In his spare time, he tries to write.

Seattle native Jason M. Brown traded liquid sunshine for the real thing when he recently moved to San Diego. Jason graduated from Washington State University with a Humanities degree focusing on English and has worked as a copywriter. An avid fan of comedy, horror, and almost any movie that started as a comic book, Jason lives in California, but still loves Seattle Seahawks football, apologies to the Chargers.

Natasha Paiva Natasha Paiva is a San Diego native born and raised along the shores of Ocean Beach and hills of Point Loma. Natasha is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in English Literature, California currently she writes in her free time while working full time for a tech company. She hopes to one day see one of her scripts produced into a film, or one of her books published.
