MovieFloss is a independently-owned movie review website. Reporting and reviewing on the film (mainstream and independent) industries, MovieFloss mission is to feed the movie-hungry generation for years to come.
MovieFloss publishes film reviews and trailers with an occasional news articles. We attend film press screeners and publish articles and reviews on those movies.
Founded in early 2008, MovieFloss is based out of San Diego, California with writers in San Diego and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

Raymond Melendez is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief for Local San Diego Metal website sdmetal.com. Besides Heavy Metal music, Raymond is also a movie buff and Craft Beer enthusiast. Which is why he is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Popular Movie Review website ‘MovieFloss.com’ and Co-Founder of Craft Beer website ‘BeerAlien.com’.

Natasha Paiva is a San Diego native born and raised along the shores of Ocean Beach and hills of Point Loma.
Natasha is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in English Literature, currently she writes in her free time while working a part time job. Although new to reviewing, Natasha has been an avid writer since she was 12.
She hopes to one day see one of her scripts produced into a film, or one of her books published. She also likes piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.
Born in Albuquerque and raised in San Diego, Emily Casebolt is a graduate of New Mexico State University with degree in Digital Filmmaking. She writes and plots stories any chance she gets from screenplays to novels. On her freetime, she watches hours of Netflix and reads countless books. She aspires to be a television writer for a one hour drama.
Eduardo Lopez grew up in the hot deserts of the Imperial Valley (El Centro, CA) but now resides in San Diego. Eddie is a recent graduate from San Diego State University with a degree in Television, Film, and New Media. He grew up on classic horror movies but loves movies of every genre and every decade. Aside from talking about movies, Eddie enjoys trying to write screenplays and hopes to one day have one of those scripts made into an actual film.
Kimmy is originally from Northern California, but has been a San Diego resident for the last five years and currently resides in Hillcrest. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Theatre Arts (Performance) degree and continues to pursue acting and performing in the local San Diego area. She lives with her 3 roommates, who are also movie enthusiasts, and who let her obsess and over analyze everything they watch together to her hearts content. She has dabbled in creative writing in the form of song writing, poetry, journals, and play writing. She also loves dogs and would like to own all of them.

Roxy De La Rosa
Roxy and her dogs are San Diego natives all hailing from Baja. She is a graduate of SDSU with a bachelor’s degree in Television, Film, and New Media Production. Roxy is a huge comedy film and sitcom fan who hopes to become a TV writer, but for now she spends her time “researching” Netflix when she should be writing.
Jason M. Brown
Seattle native Jason M. Brown traded liquid sunshine for the real thing when he recently moved to San Diego. Jason graduated from Washington State University with a Humanities degree focusing on English and has worked as a copywriter. An avid fan of comedy, horror, and almost any movie that started as a comic book, Jason lives in California, but still loves Seattle Seahawks football, apologies to the Chargers.
Angela Colgan is a San Diego native who recently graduated from college with a double major in Visual Arts Media with a film emphasis and History with an emphasis in war, revolution, and social change. She is currently employed at a local start up video production company, working on a few short online comedy series’ that will eventually launch on their own internet television website. A fan of movies since a very early age, Angela has been appreciating, arguing about, and reviewing films amongst family and friends her entire life, often much to their annoyance. A fan of all genres of film, she is particularly a fan of old movie classics, horror films in all of their different manifestations, and one-liner filled action romps from the late 1980’s and early 90’s. She hopes to work in the commercial film industry in the near future in either post-production editing, or sound design.
